Additional information

<06>This paper presents research that was part of the INtelligent Airport (TINA) project. The aim of the project was to develop the next generation advanced wired and wireless networks to meet the requirements for future intelligent networks within an airport environment. The application of this was to Heathrow Terminal 5, from which most data were obtained. The project has strong industrial involvement and support from Laing O'Rourke, Ericsson, BAA, Boeing, and Motorola. There were also partners from the academia including University College London (UCL), Cambridge University Computer Laboratory and Cambridge University Engineering Department and University of Leeds.
