Additional information

This is the first research that deals with multiple uncertain causality relations in Bayesian networks (BNs) - a significant step forward towards the implementation of a real-world sparse Bayesian network. We demonstrate, for the first time, how to define a causality relation involving multiple causes and how it can be measured by simple, practically easily obtainable qualitative assessments. The causality relations can then be used by BN developers to create precise and compact BNs.
