A generalized model for the spatial characteristics of the cellular mobile channel
This article provides generalization of existing partial contributions in modelling spatial resolution of mobile communication channels. The need for new general approach, addressed in the paper, is driven by the fact that new/future MIMO mobile communication systems are using large number of antennas with increased angular resolution. This is where old models brake down and do not provide adequate tool for understanding and communication system design. This article is a product of intensive international cooperation with the University of New South Wales; Sydney; Australia. Apart from its research contribution the article is setting models/framework for further research contributions in the field.
