Additional information

Understanding the fundamental processes involved in the formation of complex hydrocarbon species in an astrophysical setting, is imperative in building up a comprehensive picture of this potentially important route of formation of molecules essential for life. The observed desorption kinetics have formed the basis for subsequent work and together with this significantly enhance the ability to realistically model relevant system in an astrophysical setting and timescale.
