This streaming lossless compressor, available on the web at www.deplump.com, has been used by thousands (as evidenced by the associated Google analytics entry). It represents one of the largest-scale deployed Bayesian nonparametric models to date (capable of unbounded, streaming compression) and achieves 1.2 bit/character text compression, which is within the bounds estimated for the entropy of written English by Shannon. The authors are not aware of any lossless streaming compressor with superior performance.
