Additional information

This paper presents the Phase Congruency Tensor, a novel concept for contrast-independent feature extraction in images. Since its publication of this paper, it has been used by Dr Grau in two subsequent journal publications (Bioinformatics, Fungal Biology Reviews) and three additional conference publications (IEEE ISBI, SPIE), demonstrating its advantages in applications ranging from curvilinear object detection to anisotropic filtering.
