Dr Henry Gomersall received an EPSRC Knowledge Transfer Secondment grant to pursue the commercial development of deconvolution algorithms based on the work reported in this and related papers. He launched a startup company, Smart Acoustics (part of Knowledge Economy Developments Ltd), and received business Angel funding. He is working with a Californian ultrasound equipment manufacturer on integrating the technology into their systems. As part of this process, Dr Gomersall's company has received consultancy funding for expertise directly derived from his period of academic research (ID_in_audit_file@smartacoustics.co.uk).
