Additional information

This work on efficient registration methods, employing the linear-phase properties of dual-tree wavelets, has formed the basis of three rotation-invariant object tracking and object recognition projects in Kingsbury's Signal Processing Group by researchers J Nelson, T Gale and S Forshaw, as well as work on vehicle recognition for Createc Ltd, Cumbria (Dr Matthew Mellor, ID_in_audit_file@createc.co.uk). Dr Nelson, who was a post-doc in Cambridge, is now a Lecturer in the Statistics Department at University College London.
