Additional information

This new approach for fabrication of intricate carbon nanotube architectures was featured on the journal cover. The work was awarded the Robert M. Caddell prize for Outstanding Research in Materials and Manufacturing, (Sept. 2010 -USD5k), and patented by University of Michigan (US 20120126449 A1). Forms the basis of 3 PhD projects in Prof. Hart's group at University of Michigan: S. Tawfick, S.-J. Park and D. Copic (ID_in_audit_file@umich.edu). Results contributed to award of major grant (IAP µMast – Belspo, Belgium EUR2,566,000 – PI Prof P. Lambert – De Volder is manager of one of the three work packages – ID_in_audit_file@ulb.ac.be).
