Additional information
This publication established modelling of tunnels under earthquake loading using PIV analysis in dynamic problems for the first time. This publication led to a EU-funded Trans National Access project (EC FP7 SERIES Project - GA No. 227887) with Aristotle University in Thessolonica, Greece to investigate the seismic behaviour of cut and cover tunnels, currently underway at Cambridge.
