Additional information

The material for this paper was developed whilst Chief Scientific Adviser at Department for Communities and Local Government within Her Majesty's Government. It was presented at many fora within Whitehall and to several Ministers. Lord Drayson, (ID_in_audit_file@parliament.uk) then Science Minister, used this material to commission the GBP17M ‘Retrofit for the Future’ project (2009-2010) in which over 100 homes were retrofitted. See: http://www.retrofitforthefuture.org/leb/about-the-leb-database/. The London HQs of Four Departments of State were retrofitted (2009-2010). This data also was used to promote the Green Deal policy.
