This work resulted in a Patent Application (UK Priority Application 1121660.3) supported through the PCT stage by Cambridge Enterprise (ID_in_audit_file@enterprise.cam.ac.uk), and the Business Case was a Finalist in the 2013 OneStart Technology Innovation competition (http://www.oxbridgebiotech.com/onestart/shortlisted-semifinalists/). The technology ranked 1st of ~900 ideas in Samsung's 2013 Creative Lab Competition (ID_in_audit_file@samsung.com). It resulted in the award of a GBP22,065 Knowledge Transfer PIA Grant (RG64925, start 01/2012) and an EPSRC Impact Acceleration Account Grant of GBP52,318 (RG68240 start 07/2013). It also resulted in invited talks at Biosensors and Bioelectronics 2013 (http://www.omicsgroup.com/conferences/biosensors-bioelectronics-2013/) and the 2013 IEEE Nanotechnology Materials and Devices conference (http://conf.ncku.edu.tw/nmdc2013/).
