Additional information

This work led to Warwick obtaining funding from Toyota and the experimental work was then repeated using a Toyota Prius inverter (IEEE Xplore reported in Validation of a Fast Loss and Temperature Simulation Method for Power Converters, Bryant et. al. CIPS2010, 5730667). The principles of modelling an inverter and estimating the material wearout over its lifetime are the main topic of the Amantys funded EPSRC Industrial CASE for one of Palmer's current students. Estimating wearout in realtime is also a key objective for Amantys Ltd (Bryn Parry: ID_in_audit_file@amantys.com, TeleNo_in_audit_file).
