Additional information

These experiments showed for the first time experimentally the direct effect of differential species transport on turbulent premixed flames. The experiments have been selected as benchmark for comparison with the multi-investigator modelling efforts within the well-known TNF-Workshop in 2012. Two collaborators (Vervisch INSA/CORIA, France (ID_in_audit_file@coria.fr), and Vish Katta, ISS, USA (ID_in_audit_file@erinet.com)) have now been able to modify their RANS and LES models to capture the observed effects.
