<24>Intelligent machine vision system for pattern recognition and texture image classification with neural networks (NN) is investigated in this paper. The adopted supervised learning approach makes use of our GO method (reported in the previous work) for the NN training. The validated results of this research give novel insight into how the proposed intelligent machine vision system for pattern recognition and texture mapping can be used for automation and product quality control when solving real-world practical problems. The learning algorithm was subsequently used for the development of a DSTL/CDE research project “Neural Networks Generic radar signals identification” with ESROE Ltd.
