Additional information

Dr Rees was solely responsible for organising the original conference ‘Ted Hughes and the Classics’ (Edinburgh 2005), which attracted a large international field across various disciplines and formed the kernel of this book. As well as writing chapter 8, Rees single-handedly undertook the tasks of selecting contributions, editing submissions, liaising with various publishers worldwide (such as Faber & Faber, Cape and Bloodaxe etc. - see pp.vi-vii), compiling the bibliography, and checking proofs.
