<22> An off-shoot of this paper was accepted in IDA 2011 (acceptance rate 30%), winning the Frontier Prize for the most visionary contribution. It also led to a keynote talk at Compsus 2012, Copenhagen (http://www.computational-sustainability.org/compsust12). The work was extended to a funded grant (NERC CASE), supported by DEFRA. (NEJ01642x). The paper also led to a successful application as co-convenor of a track at ICES ACM on Bayesian methods for fisheries (http://www.ices.dk/news-and-events/asc/ASC-2013/Pages/Theme-sessions.aspx), culminating in an influential report on using Bayesian modelling for fisheries, read by governments, NGOs and academics worldwide. This paper is published in a high-impact journal (IF=6.23).
