Agent-based Cloud Computing
<22> This paper was selected as the Spotlight Paper in a top IEEE journal (CS-SE journal rank: 5/105). As the first work that introduced the idea of adopting agents for Cloud resource allocation, this paper represents a body of work connecting multiagent systems and Cloud computing. It led to various threads of research including agent-based Cloud service negotiation (Sim: SMCB: 7% acceptance), agent-based Cloud service composition (Gutierrez and Sim: ApplIntellJournal), agent-based Cloud service discovery (Kang and Sim: CyberC: 24% acceptance, and Inst-e-AustriaTimisoara and WestUniTimisoara, Romania), agent-based Cloud service monitoring (UNotreDame, USA) and agent-based Cloud open-source platform (Inst-e-AustriaTimisoara and WestUniTimisoara).
