Following the award of the FP7 Marie Curie Industry-Academia Partnerships and Pathways grant HYDROFRAC to Mishuris, this work, performed with Wrobel and PhD student Kusmiercyk, follows an earlier paper in Int. J. Fracture (2013, not returned) on fluid-driven crack propagation in an elastic medium, important for efficient modelling of shale gas production.
