Professor T.J.R. Hughes (University of Texas at Austin) in his plenary keynote address at the 10th World Conference of Computational Mechanics (Sao Paulo, July 2012), described this work and expressed the view that isogeometric BEM is likely to be the future for integration of stress analysis within CAD systems. Trevelyan is collaborating with Professor Hughes to organise a minisymposium in isogeometric BEM at the 11th World Conference of Computational Mechanics (Barcelona, July 2014). This has been accepted by the organisers - see http://www.wccm-eccm-ecfd2014.org/admin/Files/FileAbstract/a137.pdf.
