Additional information

This describes a new device developed at Durham University with Wykeham Farrance International. It is the first commercial device for directly measuring suctions to 2000kPa, as conventional tensiometers are limited to 100kPa. Application of such high suction is not straightforward so this describes how calibration can be achieved.
