Additional information

This paper presents the application of robotic, parallel synthesis platforms for use in predictive kinetic modelling. It was demonstrated that small scale synthesis combined with high throughput technologies is applicable to the determination of reaction networks and associated rate constants. Consequently experimental time and associated costs could be reduced significantly. The publication led to collaboration with Chemspeed Technologies (contact: Dr Jake Grace; jake.grace@chemspeed.com) who have applied the methodology to the automated optimisation of reaction conditions.
