Experimentally verified the predictions for the size of bubble trapped in a droplet impact (as part of collaboration with the Lavrentyev Institute of Hydrodynamics, Russia). The theory was also expanded to cover larger scale liquid-solid impacts, with the predictions being verified experimentally.
