With Dr Roger Rees, Gibson co-organised the original conference, (St Andrews 2009), which formed the kernel of this volume.
Gibson and Rees shared in equal measures the duties in liaising with Arethusa, selecting articles for publication, editing submissions, compiling the bibliography and checking proofs. In addition to writing their individual contributions, Gibson and Rees co-wrote the volume's introduction (pp.141-165), again with input equally shared by the two.
