Prof Lindsay is Clinical Director for Scotland and Head of Research for Danshell Health.
Lindsay’s Research responsibilities are to support research through the Danshell group, to promote the evaluation of services and procedures, to conduct research activity with the help of staff from the Danshell group, to assist members of the organisation in their research activities, and to instigate and maintain a system of ethical oversight into research and to maintain a culture of research activity in the group. Lindsay has held an Honorary Chair in Forensic Psychology and Intellectual Disabilities in the Division of Psychology since 1999. Since then he has collaborated continually with permanent staff in the Division, co-supervised PhD students in the Division and has published widely with D Carson. Since 1999 he has cited his allegiance to Abertay in all his publications. He has been returned as a Category C researcher in the last two Research Assessment Exercises.
