Additional information

<22>Mathematical fuzzy logic is a relatively new discipline with an important development in the last decade, although in a rather scattered way. This paper is the first important effort at developing general algebraic methods for a wide class of system of mathematical fuzzy logic, both propositional and first-order. It copes with different semantics and focuses on three kinds of completeness properties and obtains useful and general algebraic characterizations of them and of their relationships. This paper has proved to be very influential in the area: it is reported as the most cited article published in the journal since 2008.
