Additional information

<07>This paper advanced the story of the authors’ behavioural skeleton concept (parallel patterns + autonomic management) by presenting a two-phase protocol allowing managers to build consensus on adjustments to the underlying skeleton, thus avoiding conflicting actions. This protocol, elaborated in further works, is to the best of our knowledge the first attempt in the literature to coordinate activities across multiple autonomic managers in a single distributed system. IPDPS is a premier conference in the area of Parallel and Distributed Systems.
