Additional information

This paper provides the first-ever experimental validation of the most computationally-efficient method for calculating transport AC losses in superconductors. The work, led by Yuan, was an international collaboration with a leading research group at Florida State University and led to ongoing collaborations with Brookhaven National Laboratory in the USA. The work also led to Yuan becoming coauthor of an invited review paper in the journal IEEE Transactions on Applied Superconductivity.
