Additional information

The bottom up approach of CVD graphene is the only way to material engineer true monolayer graphene and this approach is a hot topic in the field yet are not fully characterised or understood. As such, this paper contributes to our fundamental understanding of electron transfer of CVD grown graphene and its properties. Lead to invited review articles in Chem Soc Rev (2012, 41, 6944) and PCCP (2012, 14, 8264) which is in the top 25 most-read articles in the journal for the whole of 2012. Awarded the Harrison-Meldola RSC Medal in 2011 for contributing to understanding graphene electrochemistry.
