Additional information

Deactivation or the loss of activity with time is a major issue in the area of heterogeneous catalysis. This work reports on the synthesis of nanosized zeolite catalysts in fluoride medium with lower number of structural defects, lower deactivation rate and higher activity compared to similar catalysts prepared in conventional basic medium. The paper demonstrates that industrial catalysts may be tailored to improve performance without affecting their physicochemical characteristics.
