Our muculoskeletal joint modelling is one of the most advanced in the field, modelling joints with anatomical surfaces rather than standard engineering joint types, capable of performing forced contact driven articulation. The modeller is unique and attracted a great deal of attention. The authors were invited by Prof. Edmund Chao (a leading authority in musculoskeletal joint modelling) to give a keynote lecture in his VIM conference in Taiwan. The software also attracted industrial interest and was used by Unilever to investigate joint stiffness and muscle tremor in the settings of inverse and forward motion analysis (Dr Guoping Lian, Unilever).
