The significance of this work is the extension of the algebraic premixed turbulent combustion model valid for single fuels to multicomponent fuel/air mixtures using the effective Lewis number subclosure and validated against two flame configurations. This work was carried out in collaboration with Prof. Dinkelacker and his combustion group in Leibnitz Hannover University (LHU). Numerical simulations were carried out at both the universities of Kingston and Hannover.
