Additional information

This study integrates sliding mode methodology with observer and control design of non-linear stochastic systems. The proposed analysis and synthesis procedure could provide a unique and systematic framework to facilitate the design of stochastic control systems. The research has led to a successful grant application: “Development of new concepts and methodologies on Human Adaptive Mechatronics”, from the Royal Society, 2008/R2 and a successful iNet project grant with industry. In international collaboration the paper and the other related results have been used as group research collaboration example between UWE and Shenyang Jianzhu University, China.
