This work took six years to research and write. It is a pioneering work on political communications in the Weimar Republic for which the author had to analyse systematically the newspaper content of almost 40 non-digitized local, regional and national newspapers, which needed interweaving with archival material from seven different archives. The book runs to 324pp + xvii (c. 140,000 words) and includes 14 illustrations.
