PSHCE in Catholic Secondary Schools: Stakeholders' Views

The investigation represents a serious enquiry into perspectives of stakeholders towards the teaching of personal, social, health and citizenship education in Catholic secondary schools in England. It is an original piece of work that focuses on an area of Catholic education that has hitherto not been researched in any detail. It contributes to evidence-based knowledge of what Catholic education has achieved and the challenges that it faces, having implications for the on-going debate about faith schools. Consequently, it contributes empirical research in the context of the discourse about the nature and purpose of contemporary Catholic education.
