A reverse logistics social responsibility evaluation framework based on the triple bottom line approach
• Reverse logistics models are very important for businesses to improve their overall environmental and financial performance and the impact of this study is that it proposes a much more effective way to introduce Corporate Social and Sustainability issues in these models. This research creates an integrated model for introducing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and sustainability issues in reverse logistics systems by developing a framework of performance indicators for measuring reverse logistics social responsibility performance based on the Triple Bottom Line approach (economic, environmental and social aspects). Two case studies highlight how these models can be widely used in any business sector.
