Additional information

Barium nitrate containing radioactive strontium dopants often crystallises in nuclear waste reprocessing effluent streams. This paper describes the effect of these dopants on the crystal growth and was a collaboration with researchers from the University of Leeds (Dr. R. Hammond and Prof. K. Roberts) and Nexia Solutions (M. Quayle). The work was funded by the EPSRC with Nexia Solutions as an industrial partner.
