Pinacotheca Bettertonaeana: The library of a seventeenth-century actor

The appendix to this volume consists of a lightly revised version of the Times Literary Supplement feature which was re-worked differently as Chapter 12 of output 1. There is therefore an overlap of approximately 8,000 words between this output and the CUP study of Thomas Betterton. The remainder of the material – the edited text of Pinacotheca Bettertonaeana, the notes and the editor’s introduction, all of which run to approximately 50,000 words – is wholly distinct and has not previously been submitted for research assessment.
