Additional information

<15> This is the first paper to propose a comprehensive model for cyber-physical social networks that are constructed by merging the online social graph with face-to-face social networks identified through analysis of co-presence observations obtained from smartphones. A data mining and visualisation toolkit based on this model allowed the exploration of spatial and temporal patterns of mobility, presence and encounter. This toolkit has been employed in the development of the popular Cityware app for Facebook (covered by the BBC, Tech Digest, What Mobile and others).
