Additional information

<15> This paper provided the theory and foundations of a time-series based query-by-humming system. The key novelty was to demonstrate that using only two song features, time series subsequence matching can be highly efficient and effective for music retrieval. The system was described in the paper "Hum-a-song: A Subsequence Matching with Gaps-Range-Tolerances Query-By-Humming System", PVLDB 4(11), pp 1930-1933, 2012. An open-source version of the system is available from http://vlm1.uta.edu/?akotsif/hum-a-song/.
