Additional information

<29> This research was motivated by our earlier participation in the JISC-funded L4All and MyPlan projects, which aimed to provide online support for learners in the London region in planning and reflecting on their personal development and lifelong learning. While motivated by these projects, our combination of query approximation and query relaxation techniques within one query processing framework is generic and applicable in any domain requiring flexible querying of complex, dynamic or irregular graph data such that users may not be aware of its full structure.
