Significance of output:

Hanzo was invited to conceive this roadmap for telecommunication to 2030 and beyond, which featured in the centennial edition of Proceedings of IEEE. The significance of the unique insights it provides into the future of telecommunications secured the EURASIP-Fellow award (one of 4 such awards in Europe in 2011), contributed to Hanzo’s receipt of the Royal Society Wolfson Research Merit Award, led to plenary lectures at a number of leading conferences (e.g. http://www.eusipco2012.org/home.php; http://www.comlab.uniroma3.it/isccsp2012/LajosHanzo.htm; http://www.wireless-advanced2012.org/keynotespeakers.html), Hanzo’s receipt of the 2013 IEEE Comsoc Radio Communications Committee Award.
