Additional information

<15> The paper aims to establish a formal framework for XML document design by incorporating a conceptual model of XML schema called Graph-Document Type Definition (G-DTD) with a theory of database normalization. This framework is designed as a blueprint to help XML database designers to perform XML document schema design quickly and accurately. The research presented in the paper reveals the complex relationships among unrelated data sets such as found in medical information. Thus, the conceptual model proposed can be used as the guideline to further mobile medical data processing under the departmental research theme of telehealth .
