<27> This paper presents a novel mobile fading channel model, belonging to the class of Loo models, in which the multipath power arrives both in three dimensions (3-D) and within two discrete clusters. The Doppler power spectral density (PSD) is analytically calculated for such environments. Finally a curve fitting to real world data, drawn from channel measurements demonstrates the applicability of the model. Our analysis is useful for land mobile satellite channels where the LOS component is shadowed for most of time and also in the design of future wireless networks such as 5G.
