<27> This paper presents a comprehensive study of the relationship between small-scale fade depth and wireless channel bandwidth. This was among the first of its kind that presents a fade depth model encompassing untrawideband wireless signals and presents new physical insight into the fading process. This is essential in designing and evaluating robust ultrawideband wireless technology. It inspired numerous related activities across the globe and a comprehensive study that two of the co-authors coordinated.
