Additional information

This is the first work proposing domain-specific approaches for policy conflict detection and resolution which can actually solve this perennial problem, as demonstrated through real system implementation. Together with the preceding conference papers on the same subject in IEEE Policy and IEEE/IFIP NOMS, the work has attracted more than 100 citations (GoogleScholar), establishing itself as key work in policy conflict analysis that is considered highly significant by both the policy and network management communities. The ideas behind this work also became key contribution to the EU FLAMINGO network-of-excellence project - €3.1M (€322k to UCL, PI: Pavlou).
