Real-time nonlinear parameter estimation using the levenberg-marquardt algorithm on field programmable gate arrays
This first high speed optimisation demonstration enables robots to continuously learn in real time to adapt to changing environments or to unknown environments. Led to £1.8million TSB Project “Downhole Distributed Acoustic Flow Meter” TP14//OAG/6/1/BE053A with Chevron, Weatherford, Statoil, SaudiAramco, and Silixa and £1.6million TSB project 3DCloud 24589-1 69214 with EMC2, Worknet, FirstOptionSoftware, BriteYellow and CiRRUS to maximise the recovery of UK’s remaining Oil and Gas Resources, invited paper at SEAFOM 2010, 2 new posts at Silixa, 5 invited chapters in 3 books on Higher Order Neural Networks, 2008, 2010 and Database Technologies 2009 and the spinout company Metidata.
