Additional information

This research, collaborative with Cambridge University and Westcode Semiconductors [gangru.li@westcode.com], was initiated by an EPSRC funded project [GR/R19762/01, £173k, 2001-2005] and addresses fundamental issues relating to series insulated gate bi-polar transistor (IGBT) connection. This research directly contributed to the formation of a successful start-up company that specialises in switching and control of power semiconductor devices [Amantys, http://www.amantys.com/, patrick.palmer@gmail.com].
