Additional information

The collaborative research, supported through a PhD studentship [2009-2012] funded by world-leading drives manufacturer Emerson Control Techniques [Colin.Hargis@emerson.com], investigates the fundamental mechanisms by which EMI is generated in power electronic circuits. The resulting models and analysis will enable designers to meet current and future EMI standards. The publication won first place in the 2012 IEEE IAS Prize Paper Awards.
