Coprime factor based anti-windup synthesis for parameter-dependent systems
This paper is the first to propose a general full-block multiplier (for reduced conservatism) anti-windup synthesis algorithms for systems which are polynomially and/or rationally dependent in some time-varying parameters. This class is particularly well suited for modelling aerospace systems. The research of this paper led to a project with MBDA in 2012-2013 where it was demonstrated that anti-windup compensation plays a major role if dealing with degraded and/or low performance actuators. For systems with less stringent performance requirements this could lead to a significant reduction of the cost of the overall actuation chain (Graham Wallis, graham.wallis@mbda-systems.com).
